By disappeared, I mean that my login no longer worked, and the account could not be found on their database anymore. I did not request this.

After hours of contact with representatives using the instant chat support feature that Microsoft offers in addition to several escalation requests and emails exchanged with various departments (most of which I have copies of) there was absolutely no progress on this matter. I was being passed around the office. Imagine my frustration after losing thousands of personal and important emails, only to be faced with some inexperienced employee asking trivial questions because the previous assistant decided that their work was done, or that they had shrugged me and my concerns off.

This experience was utterly unacceptable. I do not know where my personal data is, or who has access to it.
